 Prior to founding Channer
Investment Management, Inc., Chris spent twenty-six years in various
responsibilities in the investment business including with Morgan
Stanley. Prior to that he was associated with Dean Witter, The Chicago
Corp., Channer Financial Corp. (as C.E.O.), and Channer Newman
Securities Company.
The
Channer name has been well known in the investment community for three
generations, (since 1926.) Chris was the co-creator and host of the
national television production, The Conservative Investor, the author
of Ask The Conservative Investor, and was a weekly guest on WebFN’s
Ask An Expert telecasts for seventeen years.
Chris has spent all of his
career counseling private clients and institutional investors, and
actively building investment organizations, while simultaneously
acting as a significant critic to the traditions and procedures of
Wall Street. He has written numerous articles and papers on investment
disciplines and philosophy. He is an avid student of Sir John
Templeton, Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch.
